Escape points
- 11.4 km County Gate — Climb inland to the A39 — visitor centre, car park and a bus stop. Not a village.
- 16.7 km Countisbury — Path passes the hamlet; pub just off-route and the A39.
The remote one. Woods above the sea as far as Culbone — the church sits just off the path about 3 km in, with no road to it — then out onto the open hog's-back cliffs and over into Devon.
